Peter Baverso is an Integrative Wellness Educator on a mission to help 10,000,000 people liberate their potential and discover full, coherent living through Gentle Somatic Yoga. The alignment of body, mind, and spirit, in Somatics opens a door to new found feeling of integration – of being whole and conscious. This is an awakening of the light that lives inside, waiting for the door to crack open and allow this light to shine.
After sustaining a back injury from practicing yoga without listening to the feedback from his body, he found himself facing surgery. Rather than mindlessly practicing yoga he began paying closer attention to what his body was telling him. By focusing on what he was feeling and not what others were doing, he was able to modify the poses and begin moving more freely. After three months of practice he decided he wanted to become a yoga teacher. He fell in love with the process of training and the journey of self-discovery. He felt more open and free and connected to others. His experience helped him realize that yoga not only had the power to heal him, but also the world.
While he felt more in tune with himself during his practice, it wasn’t until he found Gentle Somatic Yoga that the connection between mind, body and spirit converged– this newfound wholeness was more vibrant and more deeply connected with everything. Peter loves sharing the healing power of Gentle Somatic Yoga, empowering others to discovery their own path to liberated living.
